Fine-tune your thesis in a structured way.

Our review services provide a high-level review of your doctoral thesis proposal, the thesis draft chapters, or the full doctoral thesis. Your tutor will be commenting on the thesis document and in addition to this summarizing the main recommendations in a separate document. The separate document will explain what improvements need to be made so to bring the draft up to the quality standards.

You can sign up for your thesis review support either for your full doctoral thesis, or on-demand for your thesis draft chapters or your doctoral research proposal drafts. For those who are on a self-study path, we provide the DoctorateHub Clubs for you to connect with your peers to jointly progress and support each other.

Self-study Clubs with peer support and coaches

Do you prefer to obtain feedback on your latest drafts and develop your research further with peers? It takes time and practice to become a fluent researcher, develop the ability to establish a research focus and to derive a narrative from there. Wherever you are in this process, you might want to team up with peers to not feel as though you are walking alone. The DoctorateHub Clubs are a great place to team up with peers. You can join an existing club or set one up that is tailored to your needs.

Full Thesis Review

The full thesis review service includes a single review cycle with a written report covering feedback and recommendations. After the review you will receive two documents: (1) a tracked change document with the comments/feedback; and (2) a report which summarises feedback and recommendations that could be made to bring the draft up to the quality standards. The full thesis review is followed by a Q&A via email and a video-orientation call as required.

With this service however, we are only doing a thesis review and not proofreading *.

For this full thesis review process to be most effective, it is recommended you use this service only when a near-final version of the thesis is available. The full thesis document should be sent in either Microsoft word, or Open Document format.

The standard turnaround time for full thesis review is 15 working days (3 weeks). Shorter turnaround times might be arranged for at additional charges and are subject to agreement.

*Please note that the full thesis review does not include copy editing. We can offer copy editing as an additional service if required. Unlike the full thesis review service, the proofreading service will be provided by native English-speaking tutors only. To learn more please go to the Proofreading service.

On-demand Reviews

On-demand reviews can be provided as written feedback on your thesis proposal and your thesis chapter drafts, as well as through targeted video-orientation calls that help you in clarifying writing and editorial matters. This allows you to get feedback, guidance and direction on current developments and prepare for your next actions.

Each on-demand interaction has a fee of one Brain Coin (BC) and a one-month short term Coaching & Mentoring support has a fee of twelve Brain Coins. Brain Coins are a currency used at the DoctorateHub to book on-demand services in a flexible way.
