Intense residencies

Intense Residencies are a very rich opportunity to work alongside peers under the facilitation of experienced researchers as tutors. They allow participants to develop their research, writing and presentation skills, to explore a range of different research approaches, and to receive constructive feedback on your ideas and methodologies in undertaking your thesis or post-doctoral research project. Thematic workshops

Our three-days hands-on workshops are designed to focus on research execution and thesis crafting. The workshops support you in ensuring your doctoral research is on track and executed as planned. Participants of the Intense Workshop will work through their thesis during the 3-days so to advance on the next stage of their research. Learn more about our hands-on workshops.

Coaching and Mentoring

As a coach we allow you to discover and understand the different paths that your research might be going. This is very different to supervision as coaching is not about offering advice, but about allowing you to understand what is happening now and what will be next. This can allow you to become aware of obstacles and overcome those, reducing the risk of procrastination and drop out.

As a mentor we can act as a facilitator and provide you with our wisdom, knowledge, professional experiences, and subject matter expertise so that develop beyond your current capabilities. This does not mean that you won’t have to learn the lessons yourself, but it can be comforting, save time, and reduce the pain if you understand what is normal and expect and what is not. TOC mirroring review

We can support you in and help you to structure your work and to prioritize your next actions. We do this through Mirroring Techniques that visualize your current achievements as well as areas that need action. Learn more about our TOC Mirroring Review services.

Review of chapters

We can support you by reviewing chapters, which usually starts by reviewing your most up to date table of content. Your table of content can serve as a mirror for the maturity of your thesis and as an excellent means of providing you with guidance and support. Research proposal development

We provide you with active support in crafting your proposal. We do this through three different means; and Iterative Proposal Review, our advanced training course on Research Proposal Crafting, and through Mentoring and Coaching. Learn more about our Research proposal development services.

Full thesis review

The Full Thesis Review Optimize the thesis structure and assure that it meets the standards. The service provides a high-level review of the Full Thesis, commenting on the thesis document and summarizing the main recommendations in a separate document. The Full Thesis Review service includes a single review cycle with a written report covering feedback and recommendations. After the review you will receive three documents: two (2) tracked change documents with the comments/feedback; and one (1) report which summarises the respective feedback and recommendations that could be made to ensure the thesis has the highest chance of passing a Viva. Proof reading

A native English-speaking member who is familiar with both, the business and research dimension of your work provides the Proof Reading service. We will ensure correct grammar, punctuation and English spelling consistency; aiming to eliminate errors whilst also improving the language and academic tone of your thesis. We will also look to broaden your lexical choice and vocabulary to improve your sentence and paragraph structure, as well as the syntax.

Mock Viva

The Viva should be embraced as the opportunity to showcase your research rather than be feared. We can support you through providing a mock Viva to prepare you, highlighting areas that the examiners may focus on and allow you to test run your responses. Developing and publishing articles and conference papers

Whether you are progressing through your PhD or DBA, or have secured your Doctorate, the opportunity to publish can be daunting. We can support you in such capacities as a reviewer, co-author or mentor through your first article collation and/or conference paper/s; or as an ongoing service as you establish your credentials as an academic and researcher. Postdoc project supervision

Having received your doctorate, you are now a fully recognized researcher. Traditionally, the next step is to embark on a 18 to 36 month post-doctoral assignment to turn yourself into an independent researcher.
