  • What existing studies have already addressed your research problem?;
  • What were the methods proven to work, and which did not produce the desired results?;
  • What questions have already been answered, and what questions still need to be asked?; and
  • How long will it take me to complete my research, as well as what are the actual research steps?

This club's objective is to help you understand and practice the various steps involved in preparing for data collection. As a result of this, you should achieve the following learning outcomes:

  1. Understand how to craft and defend your research plan.
  2. Practice the various steps involved in the development of a research plan.
  3. Practice getting familiar with the literature and research specific subjects
  4. Recognise the importance of having a clearly defined scope and boundaries for your research project.
  5. Explore research strategies, methodologies, methods, and techniques.
  6. Practice developing a research plan chronogram.
