With over 17 years of dedicated service to Higher Education, Dr. Francisco has held various roles at McGill University. Leveraging his international work experience and financial acumen, he effectively leads crucial teams, oversees financial and administrative operations and contributes to complex building renovations and mergers.
In 2019, Dr. Francisco was the recipient of the McGill Principal’s Award for his exceptional leadership following the McIntyre Medical Building fire. He was also named an Unsung Hero of McGill University in 2021, as part of the University’s Bicentennial Celebrations.
Committed to continuous growth, he completed and successfully defended his doctoral dissertation (DBA) at the University of Liverpool in the UK in March 2022. His research focused on the importance of investing in talent management and succession planning for higher education institutions.
